Your Student Association offers the opportunity to enroll in a group insurance plan. This plan complements RAMQ (Quebec medical insurance) or Sun Life Financial for foreign students.
The Centre de santé et de consultation psychologique (CSCP) provides professional health care services exclusively to students and staff members at UdeM, HEC Montréal and the École Polytechnique. You can also consult general practitioners, with or without an appointment.

At the University of Montreal Dental Clinic, dentistry students offer dental care, under the supervision of a professor or clinician. This clinic is open to the public, from September to April, and offers dental care at prices 25 to 50% below what regular dental clinics charge. You can sign up at the beginning of the Fall term. It takes from 6 to 9 months to get your first appointment.
The Clinique universitaire de la vision (University Eye Clinic ) is a training centre, open to the public, offering the services of an optometry clinic as well as the university expertise of faculty members. Moreover, eye care is free for children under 12 who have a health insurance card.

The Clinic’s nutritionists provide consultations in several areas: sports nutrition, pediatric nutrition, diabetes and nutritional treatments for eating disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Students at University of Montreal, Polytechnique and HEC can present a valid student card in order to obtain a 10% discount on their first consultation.
The Rendez-vous santé Québec platform enables you to make an appointment with a family doctor for free, and in just a few clicks.

» Already have a consultation? Use the reference number you received when you confirmed your appointment to update your contact information or cancel your appointment.

811 is a free, confidential telephone consultation service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An Info-Santé nurse or an Info-Social social worker can give you advice, answer your questions and direct you, if necessary, to the right resource in the health and social services network. Calling Info-Santé 811 can often avoid unnecessary trips to the clinic or emergency room.
