Even if you have a really busy schedule, taking time for yourself is very important for maintaining a healthy balance, staying on track with your objectives and preventing burnout.

Tips

  • Try to set aside personal time, at lunch or one evening a week, for example. 
  • Adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Sports and social activities are excellent ways of recharging, and decreasing your stress.
  • Take some time to observe your emotions, thoughts and stress reactions. Focus on an activity that is meaningful for you and that allows you to control one aspect of your situation. Remember to take breaks during your workday.
  • Be compassionate and patient with yourself. Celebrate your achievements, even the small ones.
