Self-assessment of your report
Self-assessment is critical. It will help you to determine if you have met the objectives.
These two tools are available to help you confirm your work:
- Assessment Criteria Table: Apply these criteria to your report in order to identify further corrections or simply to reassure yourself, before you submit your work, that your report is complete.
- Common error list: Review this list of typical case report preparation mistakes.

Your instructor’s assessment
Your instructor will generally provide feedback and an assessment for each section separately, so that weak points stand out clearly. As well, they may point out important aspects or propose adaptations to strengthen the logical connections between your analyses and certain session objectives. This formal assessment of the report, namely the corrections and feedback in each section, will show you where you have been successful, where errors arise, and what those errors are. Any specific questions you might have about the feedback or assessment can then be followed up either with members of your team or your instructor.
